Yash Plastoprint

Yash Plastoprint is tucked away in Gali No-6, right behind the B.N. Public School. If you know the Jamai Colony area in NIT, you probably know how many small shops are squeezed in here. We are at Plot No-79. It’s a bit of a maze back here in the Badkhal Extension, but we’ve been operating from this same spot for quite a while. We do printing on plastics and different materials. The machines are usually running most of the afternoon, so it gets pretty noisy in the workshop. We have a small team, just a few of us who know how to handle the presses and the ink. It’s messy work. Your hands stay stained most of the week, but that’s just how it goes with printing. We get orders from local businesses nearby who need labels or bags done up. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait around, which is frustrating when there's a deadline. We try to get things out on time, though. The space is a bit cramped with all the boxes of raw materials and finished stacks waiting for pickup. We aren't a big factory or anything, just a small unit in the colony. Most of our day is spent checking the prints and making sure the colors aren't running. It’s a practical job. Nothing too fancy. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. The front door sticks a bit when it rains.
