Our place is at Plot No-4 in the N.I.T Industrial Area. It’s one of those spots where you can always hear a hammer hitting something or a machine whirring in the distance. We do automotive work here. Usually, the floor is covered in a bit of oil or metal shavings because we stay pretty busy with the daily orders. It’s a standard plot in a big industrial zone so it looks like most other buildings around here. We don’t spend much time cleaning up for photos or anything like that. We just focus on the parts we have to make. Getting to N.I.T can be a bit of a pain with the traffic in the late afternoons. Most of us have been working here for years and we know the machines better than we know our own cars. It’s loud and hot in the summer months but we have some old fans going to keep the air moving a little bit. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to finish the work that comes in on time. Usually, we start early in the morning when it’s still cool outside. Lunch is usually taken together at the back of the shop. It is a straightforward life here. We make things, we check them, and then we ship them out. It’s nothing fancy but it keeps us busy and the work is steady. We like the routine of the shop and having a place where we can just get down to business without any distractions.
