The address is C- 116 Shiv Durga Vihar in Lakkar Pur, Faridabad. It’s a bit of a trek if you aren't from around here. Vinod Company has been operating out of this spot for a good while. The street gets pretty muddy when it rains, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the floors. It’s a practical space, mostly filled with the things we need for the day’s work. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room with magazines. Usually, if someone comes by, they just find us in the back. The walls are covered in calendars from previous years because we never bothered to take them down. It feels lived-in. We talk about the local news and the price of things while we work. Faridabad is a tough place to get around sometimes, so we appreciate it when people make the effort to visit. We have a small stove in the back for making tea, which is pretty much the fuel for the whole operation. The lighting isn't the best, especially in the evenings, but we’ve got some desk lamps that do the trick. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to get through the orders we have and make sure nothing gets lost in the shuffle. It’s a simple setup at C-116, and it works for us. We've got our routine down and we stick to it, day in and day out, regardless of the weather outside.
