Victora Auto (P) Ltd. is situated in Village Sikri, right at the 44th KM stone on the Delhi Mathura Road. Since we are on National Highway No. 2, there is always a lot of traffic passing by our gates. We have a fairly large setup here where we manufacture various auto parts. It is not a quiet place; the machines are running most of the time and there is always something being moved around. Many of our workers come from Sikri and the other villages nearby, so we are a big part of the local community. The work is mostly about pressing metal and making sure the parts are shaped correctly. It’s a repetitive job, but it’s important for the car industry. The office is just a plain building with some old desks and chairs where we handle the paperwork. We don't go in for fancy decorations or corporate branding. Our main focus is just getting the parts made and loaded onto the trucks. The highway is great for transport, even if the traffic can be a nightmare sometimes. We’ve been here at the 44th KM mark for many years now. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to switch to the generators, which is just another part of the daily grind. We are just a factory doing its job on the side of a busy national highway.
