Veer Dog Clinic

Veer Dog Clinic is run out of House Number 177 in Mewala Maharajpur, which is in Sector 46. The easiest way to find us is to look for the railway fatak or the crossing nearby. You can hear the trains passing by pretty clearly while we are working, and some of the dogs that come in aren't too fond of the noise at first. It’s a neighborhood-style clinic, so it feels more like a home than a big medical building. We use the front part of the house for seeing the dogs and doing the checkups. It’s a bit informal and we like it that way because it makes the pets feel a bit less nervous. People from all over the sector walk their dogs over or bring them on the front of their scooters. We see a lot of the same local dogs for their yearly vaccinations or when they’ve managed to get into some trouble in the street. The waiting area is just a few chairs, and it can get a bit crowded if there are too many big dogs in at once, so we try to manage the timing. Mewala Maharajpur is a busy area and being so close to the railway line means there is always something going on outside the door. We’ve been doing this for a long time and we don't have any fancy frills or corporate policies. We just focus on the dogs and making sure they get whatever medicine or care they need before they head back home.
