V. M. Auto Products

V. M. Auto Products is located at No 3684 in Sgm Nagar. We are right by the NH-3 area in NIT, so we get a lot of noise and dust from the main highway. It is a good spot for us because so many people pass by every day. The building we are in is a bit cramped, but we have managed to fit everything we need into it. We have some heavy metal racks that hold all our inventory, and sometimes it feels like they might give way, though they never do. We don't have a fancy office upstairs. We just have a small corner with a table and a few old ledgers where we write everything down. The phone is usually ringing, and it is often a driver who has broken down nearby and needs a part in a hurry. We try to be quick, but sometimes there is just too much to do at once. Our team is small, just a few local guys who are good with their hands. We don't wear uniforms; we just wear whatever is comfortable for lifting heavy boxes. The afternoon sun hits the front of the shop pretty hard, so we usually keep the awning down to stay cool. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to keep the shop running and help out the people who stop by. It is basic work, but it keeps us busy.
