Thangam A Traders

Thangam A Traders is based out of Adersh Colony in Faridabad City. We’re at J-324. It’s more of a residential-style area, so it’s a bit quieter than the big industrial zones. We use part of the building for storage and part for our small office. We deal with trading different goods. It’s mostly just me and my cousin running things. We spend a lot of time checking inventory and making sure things are packed right. The street outside J-324 is a bit narrow, so when the delivery vans come, it can get a little tight. We’ve lived in Faridabad for a long time, so we know the shortcuts to avoid the traffic when we’re out making deliveries. We don’t have a big showroom or anything like that. Most of our business is done through word of mouth and old contacts. It’s a simple way to work, and it keeps our costs down. We try to keep the place tidy, but with boxes coming in and out, it’s always a bit of a mess. We have tea twice a day and talk about what needs to be done next. There’s no corporate ladder here, just two people working hard in Adersh Colony. We like the independence of having our own small trading business. It’s not always easy, especially when the weather is bad, but we make it work every day. We just focus on the boxes and the orders.
