Swadeshi Organic Store

We run this small store in the Part 1 Market of Sector 16 A. It is shop number 10, located quite close to the Sant Nirankari School. It is a modest place, really just one medium-sized room filled with simple wooden shelves and plastic bins of different organic goods. We carry things like unpolished rice, local spices, and jars of honey that comes from nearby sources. The shop is usually very quiet in the mornings, but it picks up quite a bit when people are out doing their daily errands in the afternoon. We do not spend money on big advertisements or fancy window displays. Most of what we have is just sitting in the original containers or bags they arrived in. It is just a couple of us working here, making sure the jars are full and the floor is swept at the end of the day. We know many of our customers personally because they walk over from their homes in the sector. Sometimes the delivery truck is late and we run out of certain items for a few days, but that is just how it goes when you deal with smaller suppliers. We are not trying to compete with the big grocery chains or the malls. We just provide a convenient place for people in Sector 16 A to get their organic supplies without a lot of fuss or unnecessary marketing. It is a practical little shop where you can get what you need and have a quick chat with us before you head back home.
