Surender Clinic

Surender Clinic has been around on 60 Feet Road for a good while now. It’s right near the Air Force More area in Jawahar Colony. Most of the people who come in live right here in NIT Faridabad. It isn't some big fancy place with glass walls and uniforms. It’s just a small clinic where the chairs in the waiting area have seen better days, but they do the job. We keep the fans running all day because it gets quite hot in this part of Faridabad. The street outside is usually pretty noisy with all the traffic coming off the main road. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in. It’s just how things go around here. The staff knows most of the neighbors by their first names. We see the same families coming in year after year. Maybe a kid had a fever five years ago and now he’s coming back for something else. We don’t have a website or anything like that usually. People just know where we are because of the sign out front. It’s a simple setup. We open up early in the morning and stay until the last person is seen. Sometimes that takes longer than we planned but nobody really minds. It’s just a part of living and working in Jawahar Colony. We try to keep things quiet inside but with the 60 Feet Road traffic, there’s always some humming in the background.
