Super Springs

If you go down to Plot No. 48 in Sector-22 of Shiv Colony, you’ll find us at Super Springs. We’ve been making springs here for a long time. It’s a noisy business, as you can imagine, with the sound of metal being bent and shaped all day long. The workshop is the heart of the place. We have different machines for different types of springs, and there’s always a bit of oil and metal shavings on the floor, no matter how much we sweep. It’s a small operation. We have a few guys who have been with us since the beginning, and they can make a spring for just about anything if you give them the specs. We don't have a fancy office. It’s just a small desk near the front door where we take orders and handle the bills. Shiv Colony is a nice enough place, mostly small businesses like ours. We know most of the people on our street and we see them almost every morning. We don't do any big advertising campaigns or anything like that. Most of our work comes from regular customers who have been buying from us for years. We just try to make sure the springs are the right tension and that they don't break when people use them. It’s a simple way to make a living, and we’re happy enough with it. We just keep our machines running and take things one day at a time.
