Super Fastners (India)

Our place, Super Fastners (India), is situated on Plot No. 24 in Friends Colony. It’s right off 16/5 Mathura Road, which as anyone knows, is a very busy stretch of road. The noise of the traffic never really stops, but we’ve learned to ignore it. We deal with all kinds of fasteners like bolts, screws, and other small parts that hold things together. The shelves are packed with heavy boxes, and the air always has that faint smell of metal and oil. It’s not the cleanest job in the world, and our clothes usually show it by the end of the shift. We started this business because there was a need for these parts in the local industries around here. It’s a practical business. We don't spend money on fancy signs or decorations because that’s not what our customers care about. They just want to find the right bolt for their machines. We keep a ledger on the front counter to track everything, and it’s mostly hand-written. Sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what someone is looking for in the back, but we always get there. We’ve seen the area change a lot over the years, with new buildings going up and more traffic coming through, but we stay right here in our corner doing the same work. Most people who come in have been regulars for a long time and we know what they need.
