Sri Aurobindo Automotive Components

Down in Sector 4, at number 18, that is where we are. Sri Aurobindo Automotive Components has been running out of this building for some time. It is an industrial area, so there are always delivery trucks backing in and out of the narrow gates. The floor here is concrete and usually has some marks from moving heavy parts around. We make components, so there is a lot of metal hitting metal and the sound of pneumatic tools. It is not the kind of place where you would wear a suit. Most of us are in work clothes that have seen better days. We do not have a big marketing team or anyone like that. Usually, the owner is right there on the floor or sitting at a cluttered desk in the corner. We get the specs, we set the machines, and we get to work. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour and we all just sit outside and wait for it to come back on. It gives us a chance to talk about things other than car parts. The neighborhood is full of similar shops, but we like our little spot in Sector 4. We do not make big promises, we just do the components as they are ordered. It is a simple way of doing things and it works for us. There is always a lot to do, so we stay pretty busy from morning till night.
