Sigma Industries

Sigma Industries is located in the Hsidc Industrial Complex at Plot No 76 B in Sector 31. This is a very industrial part of town with a lot of trucks and big factories. Our unit is just one of many, but we’ve been here for a while. We do manufacturing work, so there is usually the sound of machines running throughout the day. It’s not a place for a quiet chat. We have a small group of workers who know their jobs well. The office is just a small room at the front where we keep the files and the phone. We don't have any fancy decorations or a lobby. Most of our business comes from other factories in the complex. We make components that go into bigger machines. It’s hard work and the days are long. Sometimes the heat in the shed gets to be a lot in the summer, but we keep the fans going. We don’t really do any promotion. We just focus on the orders we have. If the work is good, people come back. That’s our approach. We just want to keep the machines running and the staff busy. It’s a straightforward industrial life here in Sector 31. We drink a lot of tea to stay focused. The gate sometimes gets stuck on its tracks, so we have to give it a good shove. We keep our delivery truck parked right out front so it's ready to go.
