Shubham Art & Cafts

Shubham Art & Cafts operates out of a basement unit over at B-332 in Nehru Ground. It’s right across from the PNB Bank in the Nit area. Being in a basement means it stays a bit cooler in the summer, which is nice, but it also means we don’t get a lot of natural light coming in. We’ve got our supplies spread out all over the place. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes when we have a lot of work going on at once, but we make it work somehow. Most people who come to see us are locals from around here who know the shortcut past the bank. We aren't a big factory or anything like that. It’s just a small team of us working with our hands and trying to make things that look decent enough for people to buy. Sometimes the place gets a bit messy with scraps and tools on the floor, but that’s just part of the process when you're busy. We don’t spend much time on the phone or the computer unless we absolutely have to. Most of the day is spent actually working on the art and craft pieces. If you’re looking for us, just look for the stairs going down near the bank. We don’t have any big neon signs or anything flashy. It’s a quiet enough spot once you get inside and away from the street noise. We’ve been here for a long time and don't plan on moving.
