Shakti Forgings

Out here in Ram Swaroop Colony, things are pretty straightforward for us. We're at number 36 in Mujessar, which is a place that knows all about hard work and long days. Shakti Forgings is basically a workshop where we deal with heat and metal all day long. It gets incredibly hot in the summer months, and sometimes the fans don't do much except move the hot air around, but we've gotten used to it over the years. We aren't a corporate office with air conditioning and fancy chairs. Most of our chairs are old wooden ones or stools that have seen better days. We don't spend money on stuff that doesn't help with the forging process. Most of our neighbors are doing similar work, so there's always the sound of machinery and hammering in the air. We keep our own pace. If a job takes longer to get the metal just right, then it takes longer. We don't like rushing things if it means the quality of the part drops. Our hands are usually dirty and the floor is never really clean, no matter how much we sweep up at the end of the shift. That’s just the nature of forging. We’ve been in this spot for a long time, and the locals know us. We don't have a website with big promises, just our name on the gate and a phone that rings fairly often. People come to us because they know we've been doing this for a while. We just put in the hours and go home.
