Shakti Forgings

We operate out of Mujessar 36. Shakti Forgings is a place where things get very hot and very loud. We do forging work, which means we are dealing with hammers and furnaces most of the time. The building is an old industrial unit and it looks its age. The walls are darkened by the smoke and the floors are rough. We don't really have a front office where you can sit and have tea. Most of the time, we are busy around the fire or moving heavy metal pieces with tongs. It is physically draining work, especially during the summer months when the temperature inside the shed feels much higher than it is outside. We are located in the Mujessar area, which is known for these kinds of small factories. You can hear the rhythmic thumping of the machines from quite a distance away. We have a small crew of guys who have been doing this for a long time. We don't talk much while the machines are running because you can't hear anything anyway. We just use hand signals to get things done. When the shift ends, we are all covered in dust and sweat. It is just the way this business is. We focus on the metal and making sure it is shaped the way it needs to be.
