Shailraj Tailors Redimaid Garments

Shailraj Tailors Redimaid Garments is located at No. 1086 Rajeev Nager Dlf Area. It is a small shop squeezed between a grocery store and a mobile repair place. We have sewing machines going from morning until late at night when the wedding season starts. There are piles of fabric everywhere and sometimes it’s hard to find a place to stand. We do a lot of alterations for the local people living around Rajeev Nager. Sometimes they bring in old clothes to be fixed and other times they want something new made from scratch. The steam from the iron makes the shop very humid in the rainy season. I have a couple of helpers who are good with their hands but they talk too much while they work. We keep the ready-made shirts near the front window so people can see them from the street. The rack is a bit wobbly but it holds up okay for now. We don't have a website or anything like that because most people just walk in. My wife helps with the buttons and the finishing touches when the orders pile up too high. It’s a simple life of measuring and cutting cloth every day. We usually close up late and then head home to have dinner with the kids. It’s just a regular neighborhood tailor shop where we try to stay busy.
