Self Strengthening India Foundation

We are over in the Amarnagar area of Faridabad. If you happen to know where Manav Sanskar School is, we are located right near there at house F-133. It is a regular neighborhood where kids are always running around. We started this foundation because we saw things in our own backyard that needed doing. It isn't some big corporate setup with managers and departments. We are just regular people trying to make things a little bit better for our neighbors. Sometimes the traffic on the way to the school is a total nightmare in the mornings, but we manage to get through it. Faridabad has its own rhythm and we have been part of it for a long while now. The 121003 area is where we call home. It is a mix of old houses and some newer ones popping up. Our foundation isn't about being loud or flashy to get attention. We just handle whatever comes our way day by day. The school kids walk past our door every single morning and afternoon. It reminds us why we bothered to start this in the first place. We don't use big words or corporate talk here. We just talk like we do when we are sitting at home. Sometimes we run out of tea leaves and someone has to run to the corner shop. It is a real place with real dust and noise. We like it that way. Being part of this is just our life.
