Nova Publications & Printers Pvt. Ltd. is out in Ballabhgarh at Plot Number 9-10 in Sector 59, Phase 2. This is a proper industrial zone, so the neighbors are all factories and large units. Our place is quite big because we need the space for the printing presses and all the paper stock. It’s a noisy environment when the machines are at full speed. You can hear the rhythmic thumping of the printers from the gate. We have a lot of people working different shifts to keep things moving. It’s not a quiet office job. We are constantly moving heavy rolls of paper and checking the ink levels. The air smells like chemicals and fresh paper, which is just part of the life here. Ballabhgarh is a bit of a drive from the main city, so we deal with a lot of trucks coming in and out for deliveries. Sometimes the power fluctuates and we have to switch over to the generators, which adds to the noise. We don't have much in the way of decoration. The walls are mostly covered in production schedules and safety signs. It’s a functional space designed for high-volume work. We just focus on getting the books and documents printed clearly and shipped out on time. It’s a lot of hard work and long hours, but that is what it takes to run a printing plant.
