Ethinic India

Our business is run out of House No. 534 in Sector-31. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it stays pretty quiet most of the time. We aren't in a big shopping mall or a glass building. Ethinic India is just based in this house where we have converted a couple of rooms into our workspace. You can hear the birds in the morning and the occasional car going by. We have some wooden tables and a lot of stock piled up in the spare rooms. It feels more like a home than a business, which we actually prefer. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who handle everything from packing to answering the door. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids come by looking for a lost ball. We spend our days checking through the items we get from different parts of the country. We don't use a lot of fancy technology. A simple ledger and a laptop are enough for us. When people come to visit, we usually sit in the living area and talk over a cup of tea. It’s a very relaxed way of doing things. We’ve been in Sector-31 for years and we know the streets well. We don't feel the need to move to a bigger commercial space. This house has everything we need to keep the business running and keep ourselves busy with work we enjoy throughout the year.
