Gupta Electricals

Gupta Electricals is situated on the first floor of Om Shubham Plaza, which is SCO No. 90/91 in the Huda Market area of Sector-16. Being on the first floor means people have to walk up the stairs, but we’ve been here at No. 124 for a good while so most regulars don’t mind. The market is usually crowded, especially in the evenings when everyone is out doing their shopping. Inside our shop, there are boxes of wires, switches, and all sorts of electrical components stacked up everywhere. It’s not the most organized looking place, but we usually know where everything is kept. We talk to a lot of contractors and homeowners who are trying to fix something that broke. We aren't trying to be a fancy boutique. It’s a place for people to get what they need for their wiring or lighting. Sometimes the lighting in the plaza isn't great, and the stairs can be a bit steep if you're carrying a heavy load. We just get through the day, selling parts and giving advice when someone asks. It’s a steady kind of life. We see the same faces every week and watch the market change as new shops open and close around us. We just keep our door open and stay busy.
