Apex League

I'm usually at Plot No. 650 from early morning until the sun goes down. People around here know Apex League as just a spot where work gets done. It isn't a fancy place with glass walls or anything like that. Most days involve handling orders and making sure things are moving along like they should. My desk is usually a bit of a mess with papers, but I know where everything is. The shop floor is busy and can get loud, but that's just how it goes in this area. We’ve been at this same spot for a while now. Some of the guys have been with us since the start, and we just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s not always easy, especially when things break down or the weather gets too hot, but we manage. If you stop by, you’ll probably see us loading things up or checking the machines. There’s no big reception desk here, just someone usually coming out to see what’s needed. Sometimes the rain gets under the door if it's coming down hard, but we fixed that mostly with some old rags and a bit of cement. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we have to for the billing. It's more about the physical stuff and making sure the counts are right at the end of the shift. We just try to get through the day's list without any major headaches. That's pretty much what goes on here at the plot.
