Goldan Glass & Aluminum Works

Goldan Glass & Aluminum Works is basically just us down here at 262-A Sanjay Colony on the 44 Feet Road in Sec-22. It gets pretty dusty out on this road but we keep the doors open most days unless it’s raining hard. We spend a lot of time measuring things out and cutting glass to size for whoever walks in. It’s not a fancy setup. There’s aluminum scraps in the corner and the sound of the saw going is pretty constant. Most of the guys here have been doing this for a long time so they know how to handle the heavy sheets without breaking anything, usually. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and people around the colony know where to find us when they need a window fixed or a new frame for their shop front. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back on. It’s a simple living. We don't really do big advertisements or anything like that. People just see the sign and come in. We try to get the orders done by the time we said we would, though sometimes the glass delivery takes an extra day. That’s just how it goes here. The 44 Feet Road is always busy with traffic so there is never a quiet moment really. We just keep our heads down and work on whatever is on the table that morning.
