Roop Saree Kendra

Our shop, Roop Saree Kendra, is located in the Laxmi Ratan Complex at 69/27. We are right in the Faridabad N I T area. It’s a busy part of town with lots of shops squeezed together. Our unit isn't the biggest, but we have managed to fit a lot of sarees onto the shelves. The complex is always bustling with people looking for deals. We’ve been here for several years now. The stairs leading up to our section can be a bit steep, so you have to watch your step. Inside, we have some old stools for people to sit on while they look at the different designs. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just rely on people seeing our sign and coming in. The N I T area is quite noisy, but inside the shop, it’s a bit quieter. We spend our days folding and unfolding fabrics. It’s a lot of manual work. Sometimes we get a little behind on the paperwork, but the sarees are always sorted. We know most of the regular faces that walk through the complex. It’s a tight-knit group of shop owners here. We all help each other out when someone needs a hand moving heavy boxes or something. It’s a good place to work, even if it gets a bit hot in the summer months. We just keep the fans running.
