Our office is over in Section 49 of Faridabad, right in the NIT area. It’s a busy part of the city and we’ve been operating out of house number 1815 for quite some time now. We work on packaging stuff, mainly the kind of things you see in the grocery stores. It’s not a big fancy factory here, just the main office where we handle the orders and the planning. The street gets pretty loud with all the scooters and trucks passing by, but we got used to it. Inside, it’s mostly desks piled high with papers and a few chairs for when visitors stop by. We don't spend money on expensive furniture or big signs. Most of our work is done through calls and emails anyway. The tea guy comes around twice a day and that’s usually when we take a break and talk about the weather or the traffic on the way in. It’s a practical way to run a business without all the extra fluff you see in the big cities. We know our customers and they know us by name. Dealing with Haryana's summer heat is the hardest part, but we manage with a few coolers. We just focus on getting the packaging specs right so there aren't any issues later on. There is always a pile of samples near the door waiting to be shipped.
