Rajender Provisional Store

We are tucked away in Sector 17 at Booth Number 35. It’s a small space, like most of the booths around here, so we have to be really smart about how we stack the shelves so everything fits. We carry all the essentials like lentils, flour, soaps, and snacks. It’s the kind of place where people pop in because they realized they ran out of sugar or need a pack of biscuits for tea in the afternoon. We spend a lot of time checking the dates on products and making sure everything is fresh for the customers. The morning is usually our busiest time when the milk deliveries come in and everyone is getting ready for the day ahead. It’s a lot of lifting heavy crates and bags, which keeps us busy. We’ve been in Sector 17 for a good while and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit, but the store stays pretty much the same. We don’t have any fancy computerized systems; we just know where everything is and what our regulars like to buy. Sometimes we run out of things if a delivery is late, but we just explain that to the customers and they usually understand. It’s just a neighborhood shop run by regular people. We aren't trying to be a big supermarket, just a convenient spot where you can get what you need quickly and head home to your family.
