We opened Profit Free Bazar here in Nit because the area needed something steady. It’s not a huge place, just a simple setup with shelves that we put up ourselves. Most mornings start early, around six, when the first deliveries arrive. The air is still a bit cool then. We spend a lot of time moving crates around and making sure everything is where it should be. The name gets some questions, but it’s just how we wanted to label the shop. People from the nearby blocks come in throughout the day, mostly for small stuff they forgot to get elsewhere. The floor is concrete and gets dusty pretty fast, so someone is always sweeping. We’ve got a small fan in the corner that rattles when it's on high, but it helps during the afternoon heat. It’s mostly just two of us here most days. We don’t have fancy lighting or anything, just the standard tubes that flicker sometimes. There’s a tea stall just a few steps away where we go when things get quiet. It’s a basic life, really. We keep track of everything in a thick ledger book because the computer we had died last summer and we never got around to fixing it. Dealing with the neighbors is the best part, honestly. You get to know everyone’s name and what they usually buy. It’s just how we run things here in Nit without making a big fuss about it.
