Prabhat Auto Industries

Prabhat Auto Industries is tucked away at 27/43, inside the Laxmi Rattan Complex in the Nit area. If you haven't been here before, the complex can be a bit of a maze with all the different units. Our place is a working industrial unit, so don't expect a shiny showroom. There’s usually a bit of oil on the floor and the sound of metal hitting metal. It’s a dusty place because of all the work we do with auto parts and machinery. We have a small group of guys who have been here for years. We aren't much for talking, we just like to get the jobs done. The Laxmi Rattan Complex is always busy, so parking can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We usually have our tea in the morning right before we start the machines up. It’s a long day, but it’s the work we’ve always done. We don't have a big corporate office or a secretary. If you need something, you just come to the workshop and find one of us. We deal with all kinds of engine parts and repairs. Sometimes the lighting in the back isn't great, so we use handheld torches to see what we are doing. It’s just a regular, hard-working shop. We’ve stayed in the same spot because it's where all our tools are set up just right. It's not pretty, but it works for us.
