P. S. Packers

P. S. Packers is located at 7-D in the NIT Industrial Area. This part of the city is always full of smoke and noise from all the factories. Our place is basically a big warehouse where we handle all sorts of packing jobs. We have a lot of crates and bubble wrap piled up near the entrance. Most of the day is spent wrapping things up and making sure they are secure for transport. It’s a lot of tape and cardboard. We have a small crew of guys who are really fast at packing. We don't use much automated stuff. It’s mostly just hands and a few simple tools. The floor is concrete and it gets very cold in the winter. We have a small cabin inside where we keep the records and the phone. It’s nothing special to look at but it works for what we do. We get all kinds of things coming through here to be packed. Some are small and some are quite large. We just figure out the best way to box them up so they don't break. The NIT area is pretty busy so we have to watch the gate for trucks arriving. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just know we are here at 7-D and they bring their stuff over. It’s honest work and we try to stay busy every day of the week.
