We are located up on the 11th floor of Signature Towers-B in South City. It’s a pretty big building, and being up this high gives us a decent view, though we’re usually too busy to look out the windows much. Our work is all about lighting and the tech behind it. Even though it’s a corporate-looking building from the outside, inside our office it’s mostly just people at desks trying to figure out logistics and technical specs. We have a lot of samples lying around—different bulbs and fixtures that we test or show to people. It’s a bit more of a quiet environment compared to a factory floor, but there’s still a lot of hustle when a big shipment is coming in. We don't go in for big mission statements or anything like that. We just come in, check the emails, and deal with the lighting projects on our list for the day. The elevators in the Signature Towers can be a bit slow during the morning rush, so we’ve learned to get in early. It’s a professional enough setup, but we keep things pretty grounded. We aren't trying to impress anyone with fancy office furniture. We just want to make sure the lighting products we handle are getting to where they need to go. It’s steady work and we’ve been in this South City spot for a good while now. Every day there is a new list of specs to go through for different clients.
