Om General Store

Om General Store is located in Ballabhgarh, right in the main market area. We are very close to the Rest House Bus Stand, so we see a lot of people who are just passing through this part of Faridabad. Being near the bus stand means we get all sorts of customers, not just the people who actually live in the neighborhood. The main market in Ballabhgarh is always noisy and full of life, especially on the weekends when people come out to shop. Our shop isn't very large, but we try to fit in as much as we can on the shelves because space is tight. We have been at this address, 121004, for many years now. People usually find us easily because we are a known spot near the bus stop. We sell a bit of everything, from notebooks for the school kids to soaps and kitchen supplies for the homes nearby. The floor is made of old stone and the ceiling fan hums all day long to keep the heat away during the summer. It gets very dusty with all the buses and cars going by right outside, so cleaning is a never-ending task for us. We don't have a big team of people, just a few of us who know where every single item is hidden on the racks. If someone asks for a specific spice or a certain type of battery, we usually know exactly which corner to look in without thinking. It is a practical way to live.
