O K Auto Components is tucked away in SGM Nagar, specifically at A 131 in Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Nagar. We’ve been working out of this facility for a long time. It’s more of a workshop feel than a corporate office, which suits us just fine. There is always the sound of machinery or tools clinking in the background. It’s a busy place, but we keep it organized in our own way. We make parts here, and it’s dusty and noisy, but that’s just the nature of the job. Most of the people working here live nearby in SGM Nagar, so we’re all pretty much neighbors. We don’t spend money on fancy signs or glossy brochures. We’d rather spend that time making sure the components are right. Sometimes things go wrong, or a machine breaks down, and we all have to pitch in to fix it. That’s just how it goes in a place like this. It’s not always pretty, but it’s honest work. We’ve seen the industrial side of Faridabad grow and change, yet we’ve stayed right here at A 131. People know they can come by and talk to us directly. There’s no middleman or complicated phone menus. Just a bunch of guys in a workshop doing their best to keep the orders moving out the door on time. We take our breaks together and talk about whatever is happening in the news. It’s a good group of people and we just try to get the day's tasks finished.
