Nuchem Machine Tools Ltd

Operating out of 20/6 Mathura Road, Nuchem Machine Tools Ltd is part of the larger Nuchem setup. This stretch of the road is always packed with traffic, especially the big lorries moving goods in and out of Delhi. Our facility is an old-school machine shop. We’ve got lathes, milling machines, and all sorts of heavy gear that’s been around for years. It smells like cutting oil and cold steel inside. We spend a lot of time measuring things twice and making sure the tools are sharp. It’s not a fast-paced environment where everything is automated; a lot of it still depends on the guy standing at the machine. The building has seen better days, and the paint is peeling in places, but the machines themselves are kept in good shape because that’s what actually matters for the work. We usually start early to beat the worst of the heat. By midday, the sun hits the metal roof and it gets quite stuffy. We have a small break area where we drink tea and talk about whatever is going on in the news or the neighborhood. We don’t put on airs here. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in greasy overalls trying to fix a stubborn piece of hardware. It’s a straightforward life, just making tools and keeping the wheels turning for our customers who need them. We just keep our heads down and get the job finished.
