National Council For Cement And Building Materials
About National Council For Cement And Building Materials – Metals & Minerals in Faridabad
We are over at C108 in the N.C.B Colony, which is in Sector 7/D of Faridabad. Being part of the National Council For Cement And Building Materials means we stay pretty close to where the work happens. This colony is basically where a lot of us live and work. It’s a bit of a walk from the main gate to our specific block, but it’s a familiar route. The buildings here have been around for a while. It’s not like those new glass offices you see in the city. We have a lot of files and technical manuals stacked up because that’s just the nature of the job. In Haryana, the winters get really cold and the summers are quite dusty, so we spend a lot of time inside. There’s a sense of community in Sec 7/D since we see the same faces every day. We handle a lot of the administrative stuff for cement research and testing from this office. It’s a bit plain, just white walls and regular furniture. Nothing special to look at, but it’s functional for us. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but we just wait it out. It is a quiet area mostly, away from the heavy industrial noise of other parts of Faridabad. We just keep our heads down and do what needs to be done with the building material standards and reports. It is a long day sometimes, but the work stays steady here.
