K.P. Rathor Engg. Works

We are over at Plot No. 123 in Hriday Ram Colony, which is part of the Mujessar area. If you’re looking for us, we are right near Grace Public School. You can usually hear the kids playing during recess while we’re working on the lathes. K.P. Rathor Engg. Works has been in this spot for a long time. The workshop is a bit cramped because we have a lot of heavy machinery and old parts piled up in the corners. It’s a greasy job, and most of our clothes have stains that won’t ever come out. We don’t mind it much. The neighbors are used to the clanking sounds coming from our shed. Sometimes the school bells and our machines create a weird kind of rhythm. We do a lot of repairs and custom pieces for people around Mujessar. It isn’t the kind of place where you’ll find a receptionist or a waiting room with magazines. You just walk in and find someone covered in oil to talk to. We try to be honest about how long a job will take, even if it’s bad news. The roof leaks a little when it rains really hard, so we have to move the equipment around, but we make it work. It’s a simple life running an engineering shop in a busy colony, and we wouldn't know what else to do with our time anyway. We just keep the machines running.
