We are based at House No. 1372 in Sector-16, Faridabad. Using a house as an office for Moser Baer Photo Voltaic Ltd makes the whole workday feel a bit different than being in a massive industrial park. It’s a bit more relaxed here. We have converted the rooms into workspaces, and it works out pretty well for us. Haryana gets incredibly hot, especially in June, so we spend a lot of time inside with the air conditioning on. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so it stays fairly quiet during the day. We handle a lot of the technical side of the solar business from this location. There are always stacks of drawings and specification sheets lying around on the tables. We don’t have a big corporate lobby. When someone visits, they usually just walk straight into the main room. Our kitchen is small, so we take turns having lunch. It’s a very close-knit group of people working here. We’ve known each other for years. Sometimes the delivery vans have a hard time finding the house number, so we have to go out and guide them in. The garden in the front is small, but we try to keep some flowers growing there. It’s a practical and simple setup. We don't bother with much ceremony or corporate talk. We just get the data entered and the reports filed. It’s a steady pace of work that keeps us going through the week without much fuss or noise.
