If you know where Delhi Public School is on Mathura Road, then you’ve probably passed by us without even realizing it. Mithabhi Lamps is right at Number 16/4, essentially adjoining the school grounds. It can get pretty noisy when the school bells ring or when the buses are lining up in the afternoon. Mathura Road is always packed with trucks and cars, so there’s a constant hum of engines in the background. Our building is a bit older, and it has that lived-in feel to it. We don't have a giant neon sign or anything. Most of the time, it's just the staff here sorting through inventory or handling the day-to-day admin tasks. The office gets a lot of natural light in the morning, which is nice. We have shelves filled with different components and lamps, as you might expect given the name. It’s not a showroom, just a functional space where we get the job done. Sometimes the internet acts up when the weather is bad, but that’s just how it goes. We usually grab tea from the vendor down the street. It’s a very local way of working. Most of us have been here long enough that we know the regular faces in the neighborhood. It's a practical location, even with the school traffic. We just go about our business and keep the place running as best as we can every day.
