Maxx International

Maxx International is based at J-129. We’ve been working from this location for a few years now. It’s mostly about managing shipments and talking to people on the phone or over email. We deal with various goods, moving things from one place to another. The office is pretty simple, just some desks, computers, and a lot of paperwork. It’s not a big corporate building with a glass front. We prefer it this way. It’s just a few of us here making sure the orders are processed and the logistics are sorted out. Sometimes things get a bit chaotic when a shipment is delayed, but we just buckle down and fix it. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just help move products. The neighborhood is quiet enough for us to get our work done. We often have lunch together at the small desk in the back. It’s a small operation, so everyone does a bit of everything. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to keep the business moving and our customers happy with how we handle their stuff. It takes a lot of coordination, but we’ve gotten pretty used to the rhythm of it. It’s just regular people working hard at J-129. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything. We rely on doing things right and keeping our word. Most days are long, but we like the work. It keeps us busy and the time goes by fast.
