Mata Tirathdevi Ayurvedic Hospital

Mata Tirathdevi Ayurvedic Hospital is down in the basement of Sanskriti Plaza, which is inside the Springfield Shopping Centre. We are on the left side when you go down the stairs, not far from Sector 32. Being in the basement means it’s a bit tucked away, and it stays nice and cool even when the Bhopal sun is beating down outside. You can always smell the herbs and the warm oils as soon as you reach the bottom of the stairs. It’s a very natural scent that we’ve all grown to love. The hospital isn't very big, so we have to be careful with how we use the space. We have some wooden benches in the hallway for people to wait on, and the walls are a simple, clean color. Because we are in a shopping center, you can sometimes hear the muffled sounds of people walking and talking upstairs, but down here it’s usually quite peaceful. Our staff has been together for a long time, so we have our own little routines and jokes. We don't have a big marketing budget or any fancy brochures. Most of our patients find us because they were in the plaza or someone told them about our Ayurvedic treatments. The shelves are filled with jars of different herbs and oils that we use every day. It’s a modest, hardworking place where we just focus on the traditional ways of doing things and helping the people who walk down those stairs. We stay until the last patient is seen.
