Marathon Electric India Private Limited is situated in Sector 11, Model Town. It’s an industrial sort of area, so there are always trucks moving and people in uniforms heading to work. We are part of that whole scene. Our place is where we deal with motors and electrical equipment. It’s not a fancy office with carpets. It’s a workplace with concrete floors and the sound of machinery in the background. We spend our hours checking parts and making sure the orders are ready to go out. Model Town has been our home for quite a while. We know the other businesses around here. The morning usually starts with a quick meeting and then everyone gets to their station. It is hard work and it gets hot in the summer, but we are used to it. We don't spend money on fancy brochures. The work we do speaks for itself when the machines start running. We have a canteen where everyone grabs a bite at noon. It’s a solid, predictable life. We aren't looking to be famous; we just want to make sure the electrical components we handle are solid. People in Sector 11 know us as the place that stays busy from dawn to dusk. It’s a big building, but we know every corner of it. We just focus on getting the day's tasks done correctly and getting home to our families after the shift. It's how we've always done it.
