Maa Kali Mithila Foundation

We are located on the ground floor at D-3/265 in Shiv Durga Vihar, Lakkarpur, right here in Faridabad. The area is usually quite lively and that suits Maa Kali Mithila Foundation just fine. We started this because we felt there was a need for a local foundation that actually understood the Mithila culture and the people living around here. Our office is pretty simple, just a ground floor space where we keep our supplies and hold our discussions. It isn't a place for suits and ties. We usually wear regular clothes and talk to people like they are our neighbors, because most of them are. Faridabad is a big city but our little corner in Lakkarpur feels like a small village sometimes. We don't follow a strict corporate schedule. If someone needs help at an odd hour, we try to be there. The foundation is run by folks who grew up around here, so we know the streets and the struggles. We focus on practical things that people actually need. There isn't any fancy philosophy behind it, just a desire to be useful. If you are near Shiv Durga Vihar, you can easily find us. We don't have big flashy signs, just a small nameplate near the door. It’s a humble setup but it allows us to do our work without any distractions. We hope to keep this going for a long time without making things too complicated.
