M. M. Overseas

M. M. Overseas is over at Plot No. 370 in Sector-24. It’s one of those spots that stays pretty busy throughout the day, especially when the trucks are coming in or leaving the yard. Most of us get here early in the morning when the sun is just starting to hit the front gate. There is a small desk near the window where you can see everyone passing by on the main road. The walls inside aren’t freshly painted or anything fancy, but they hold up just fine for what we need to do. Some days the dust from the nearby construction gets inside, so we spend a bit of time wiping down the tables. We usually have tea around eleven, sitting on those old plastic chairs that have been here since the beginning. Sector-24 has a lot of energy, but it can get noisy with all the industrial sounds echoing around. When people come looking for Plot No. 370, they sometimes miss the turn because the sign for M. M. Overseas is a bit weathered from the rain. We don't mind. It feels like a real place where actual work happens, not some shiny office in a tall building. The floor is concrete and has a few cracks here and there. We keep the files organized in those metal cabinets that squeak when you open them. It’s just how things are here, and we’re used to the rhythm of the place.
