Lakshit Constructions (P) Ltd.

We are based at House Number 2843 in Gali Number 4. This is right in the heart of Jawahar Colony in Nit Faridabad. It is a bit of a maze getting through the lanes here but once you find Gali 4 we are easy to spot. The office is part of the residential area so it feels very much like a local family business. We have been doing construction work in this part of Haryana for a long time. There are always stacks of bricks or bags of cement being moved around near the entrance. The neighbors are used to the noise by now. Inside it is pretty simple with a couple of desks and some old chairs for when people come to talk about their house plans. We spend a lot of our time out at the different project sites so the office can be empty for a few hours in the afternoon. It is not a place with shiny floors or fancy lights. We just need a roof over our heads to do the planning and the bookkeeping. Dealing with the local authorities and getting permits takes up a lot of our time too. It is a busy life but it is honest work. We like being part of the Jawahar Colony community and seeing the buildings we helped make. The street can get quite narrow when the delivery trucks come through, but we make it work somehow. It’s just how things are in this part of town and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
