We are based out of N.I.T in Faridabad, over in Haryana. The name on our paperwork is Laing O Rourke Construction Pvy. Ltd. Faridabad is a tough, industrial kind of place, and our way of working fits right in with that. We don't spend much time on making the office look perfect. It's a place for work, not for show. We handle construction projects around the area. Some are small, some are a bit bigger, but we take them as they come. The team here is pretty small, and we’ve worked together for a long time. We know the local suppliers and the people around here. It makes things easier when you know who you’re dealing with on a daily basis. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that; we just want to finish the job and move on to the next one. Sometimes the power goes out or the roads are blocked, but that's just life in Faridabad. We don't complain much, we just get on with it. You won't find us wearing suits or doing big lunch meetings. Most of our discussions happen over a quick tea near the site. It’s a basic way of doing business, but it’s worked for us so far. We are just local people trying to do a good job with the tools we have. It’s not fancy, but it is honest.
