Our office is located at B 19 on the first floor in the Nehru Ground area of NIT. It’s a pretty lively spot to be in every day. Dealing with metals means there is always something going on, whether it’s checking prices or looking at different batches of material that come through. The staircase up to our floor is a bit narrow, and you can hear the noise from the market downstairs all day long. We spend most of our time at our desks or talking on the phone with people about supplies. It’s not a very quiet job, but we like the energy of the NIT area. There are lots of other businesses around here, so there’s always someone moving something on a cart or a truck blocking the lane for a few minutes. We keep our paperwork organized, but the desks usually have some samples lying around. The sun hits the front windows in the afternoon, making it quite bright inside. We usually have tea delivered from the stall across the way twice a day. It’s just how things work here. We aren't trying to be anything special, just a group of people working with multimetals and trying to keep everything running smoothly. Sometimes the internet is slow, or the traffic makes us late, but that is just part of being in this part of town. We are here from morning until the market starts to wind down in the evening.
