Konkrete Products Co

At Konkrete Products Co, located at 90 in Sector 25, things are usually pretty grey and dusty. That’s just what happens when you work with concrete all day long. We have the molds and the mixers out back, and the front area is where we stack the finished blocks and slabs. It’s a very physical job. You’re always lifting something or shoveling sand and cement. Our clothes are permanently stained with a bit of concrete mix. Sector 25 is an active area, so there’s always a lot of movement around us. We try to keep the noise down, but the mixers are what they are. Sometimes a batch doesn't set quite right because of the humidity, and we have to start over. It's frustrating, but it’s part of the job. We don't have a fancy office or a lobby. If you want to talk to us, you usually have to find us in the yard. We’ve got a small desk tucked in the corner for the invoices, but it’s mostly covered in dust too. The days are long, especially when the sun is beating down on the yard. We check the blocks to make sure they are solid and the edges are clean. It’s not a complicated business, just making things out of concrete for people who need them for their builds. We’ve been at this number 90 spot for a while now and everyone around here knows what we do.
