We are set up in Flat 308 inside the Krishna Vihar Society in Sector 21C, Faridabad. Being in a residential society means the atmosphere is a bit different than a huge office building. You have people living their lives all around us, kids playing in the common areas, and the usual coming and going of a housing complex. Our office is basically just a few rooms where we handle our daily paperwork and coordination for Kenmore Vikas India. It gets pretty quiet during the middle of the day, which helps us get through the computer work. We don’t have a big fancy sign outside, just the flat number and our name on the directory. Most of the people working here live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad compared to going all the way into Delhi. We spend a lot of time on the phone or responding to emails, sitting at desks that have seen better days. The balcony looks out over the rest of the society, and we sometimes take our tea breaks there when the weather isn't too dusty. It’s a practical setup for what we need to do. We don’t really have customers walking in off the street since we are inside a gated area. It’s mostly just us and our files, trying to keep everything running smoothly without much fuss.
