Aman Industries

Aman Industries is located at Plot 5E/9M in NIT Faridabad. If you know Faridabad, you know it’s a town that was built on industry, and we are right in the middle of it. Our plot isn't anything special to look at. It’s a functional building with a heavy iron gate that we pull open every morning at eight. The air in NIT is usually thick with the smell of coal and exhaust, and our workshop is no different. We have a set of machines that have been with us for a long time. They are loud and they take some coaxing to start in the winter, but they get the job done. We don't have a fancy reception area. If someone comes by, they usually just shout for one of us over the noise of the grinders. We don't use much technology for our day-to-day management. Most things are written down in a ledger or on scraps of paper. It’s a very old-school way of running a business, but it’s what we know. The workers here are like family; we've seen each other's kids grow up. We don't make big promises. We just try to do the work as best as we can and hope the electricity stays on all day. It’s a tough environment, but we’ve been here a long time and don't plan on going anywhere.
