Kalpana Forgings Ltd

We are based in Sector 6, specifically at plots 34 and 35. Kalpana Forgings Ltd is where we spend the bulk of our time. It’s an industrial area, so there is always a lot of noise and activity around us. You can hear the machines running from down the street most days. Our space is pretty big because we need the room for all the heavy stuff we handle. It isn't a very clean place—metal work is messy and there is always some grease or dust somewhere. We wear our work clothes and don’t worry too much about looking polished. That’s not what we’re here for. We focus on getting the parts made right. Sometimes the machines act up or the heat gets a bit much in the summer, but we just keep going. It’s a tough kind of work, but it’s what we know. We’ve got a team that’s been together for a while, so we don't need to talk much to know what needs to be done next. We don't have any fancy mission statements on the wall. We just have a schedule and a bunch of orders to fill. People in the neighboring units are much like us—just working hard and hoping the power stays on. It’s a straightforward life here in the industrial sector. We take pride in the fact that we do things properly without making a big fuss about it.
