Kalpana Forgings Ltd.

We are located over at Plot No. 34/35 in Sector-6. It’s a busy place with a lot of noise coming from the forging hammers. We have been here for a good while now. Some days the shop floor gets really hot, but that is just part of the daily job for us. Most of the guys on the floor have been with the company for years, so we all know how the machines sound when they are running right. You won’t find any shiny carpets or fancy reception areas here. We just have our steel, some old wooden desks in the front office, and a lot of work to do. We usually start quite early in the morning when the air is still a bit cool. By the time noon rolls around, the whole shop is humming with activity. If you happen to come by, you will probably see a couple of trucks loading up near the main gate. We just try to keep things moving and get the orders out to people on time. Sometimes a machine acts up and we have to spend half the day fixing a press, but we always manage to get it sorted out. It is a very straightforward setup. We don’t spend much time on the computer unless we absolutely have to for the billing. Most of what we do involves heavy lifting and making sure the metal pieces are the right size. It’s hard, dirty work, but the team knows what they are doing. Sector-6 has changed since we moved in, but our plot stays pretty much the same.
